Stinger Reproduction
Stingers have complex reproductive processes. They reproduce both sexually (through eggs and sperm) and asexually (by dividing or budding off new organisms).

 Coral Spawning
Reef-building corals typically reproduce sexually through mass spawning, when all coral of one species in a given region release their eggs and sperm into the water at the same time. Free-swimming larvae result and can be carried great distances before settling and turning into coral polyps.

Corals also reproduce and expand their colonies by budding. The coral polyp can replicate itself, yet will remain connected to the colony in order to share nutrients.
